So I went back to JCPenny's the other day and ended up buy more stuff (go figure) So if you get a chance, go over and check out all the $2.97 deals. And yes I did not buy the store.

Happy Valentine's Day-err whatever!
Well today is Valentines Day (eyes rolling) Big whoop! It's just another day really.Single, in a relationship, about to get out of a relationship, etc, etc. It's Monday.
Actually it's a great day to go shopping because
1.)there won't be that many people out and about past 6pm
2.)shopping for clothes is going to be a breeze (I don't think a shirt says i love you)
3.)the only people to get in your way are clueless men (pssh)
So once I got done making my phone calls for the day at work, I merrily rolled on my way to the mall.Parked over by Macy's and didn't really find anything besides men walking around aimlessly and couples actually shopping together for Valentines day (how thoughtful). I was tempted to get my Chanel, BUT, I resisted. Not because my "valentine" would get it for me (hahahaha insert sarcasm) but because Chanel never goes on sale so I might as well use up the perfume I have now and wait til I "really" need new perfume, I mean it's not like I have a collection going on or anything.............. But I did squirt some Chanel (the pink one) on my wrist, O-M-G!!!!!!!!! Love, love, love it! Oh I lied, I did try on a leopard print dress while I was in Macys, sorta fail. If I was a whore then maybe, but since I'm not I put it back. It was LOUD, I don't know what I was thinking- I was probably hungry.
Anyways moving on......JCPENNYS? Umm yes as soon as I walked in I saw a sign (literally) $2.97 (JACKPOT) Ahhh yes, JCPENNY'S the place of I <3 Ronson, Bisou Bisou and the land of the cheap when there's a sale. I was not disappointed. Let me first start off by saying anything that is marked 80% off in the womens/misses area is only $2.97!!!!!!!!Screw what it says on the ticket, anything 80% off is $2.97. Comprende? Well I didn't get that memo until I was checking out and noticed that the lady in front of me got a gray/blue leopard print puffer Bisou Bisou jacket for $3.12. I did a good deed and told her I saw some other sizes in a different area (damn that jacket could have been mine-it was a medium!) But really, do I really need to be walking around in a leopard print puffer?! Ummm nah I'll pass.
Sighhh let me back up....Okay so there's a bunch of racks that are all $2.97. Some have the $2.97 sign but hey don't forget the 80% off stuff is only $2.97. There's about 2 racks to where the misses stuff is as soon as you walk into the store from the mall. And then if you go to the left towards the dresses there's about 4 racks there. But they're getting pretty bare so hurry! OHHHh the dresses rack is on sale $9.97! I tried on this black dress which was originally $100 but now only $9.97. I liked it, but I didn't LOVE it. Plus it had bunched on my butt which made my butt look re-dunkulous, so I passed. I even tried on the purple dress and it just looked "alright." So even though it was only $9.97 I left it. Yay for self control!! I tried on some blue shirts, but they were fails. Oh and this black one shoulder shirt that had a crazy sleeve. I felt like I could be Michelle Kwan if I wore it, very costume-y. So like the rest of the fails, I left it behind.
So I finally decided on getting a pair of Bisou Bisou black work pants. I've been dying for the new pants from the Gap but I'm not about to pay $50+ for some black pants just because they're the new thing. Plus with my weight fluctuating like it is jumping from one size down to two sizes up, I need some stretch in my pants! Speaking of Gap, every Wednesday you can get 40% off any item clearance or not, if it's Wednesday and you go to the Gap...it's going to be 40% off : )Oh and I got a couple of shirts too while I was at Pennys!
Yep I paid only $12.71 and saved $134.12! And yes I'm going back again tomorrow because I need shirts!I'm still finishing up the final stuff for the bff's bday present so you bet she's getting something for JCPENNY's. Don't worry, she knows I'm cheap. I know she's cheap too, that's why we're BFFs! So see shopping is possible on the cheap! You just gotta be flexible and know what you NEED vs what you WANT.
P.S brand names are important and also check out the material. There's isn't a point to paying $2.97 for something you can see right through!

1st DEAL-io!
Okay so I'm pretty excited about having this blog up and running. I know I've been telling all my friends that this would happen eventually- and now the time has come!
So today's DEAL-io is from one of my favorite places: TARGET
I was the usual bored self at my aunt's office and looking at my usual websites to find anything to cure my boredom and tah-dahhh William Rast at Target.com is already 30%-50% off so you know what that means.....it's sale time at the stores!Well today is the last day of the month so typically that's a good sign that there's going to be a sale of sorts (I don't know if that's a retail myth or whateverrr). Anywho I happily made my way to the Target near Regal since that's the only Target that carries William Rast. I walked in and the William Rast section had been replaced by BATHING SUITS (fail). It is January, this is Georgia, and it is January!
Anywhoooo going back to my point......Well there's about four 30% off racks and two 50% off and one pathetic 75% off rack. I felt so blah about the one 75% off rack that I didn't even feel like looking for the William Rast stuff in the other racks. So I moved on to the lingerie/socks/spanx department across the aisle and found a couple of deals. The clearance bras and stuff is the end rack closest to where the sunglasses are. I was tempted to get a plum purple two pack of Moreno knee high socks ($2.58 for 2 pairs) there's only 2 pairs left. Oh and a couple of bras but they were either too small for me or waaaay too big (eh!) Oh but there was this one leopard print lingerie thing for only $5.98 size small)- a pretty good deal especially since Valentines Day is coming up (hint hint) I didn't take the hint so oh wells it's there if anybody wants it.
I really just needed some juice- don't ask me why I went to Target to get it-but anywhooo I turned the corner past the sunglasses and tah-dahhh saw the magical 75% off sign in the jewelry section!
Temple St. Clair Jewelry for Target is marked down to 75% off!!!!! (Yes I knew Target wouldn't fail me!)
Target's Temple St.Clair section online says that it's marked down to 30% off but yep it's already 75% off in the stores! The collection itself consists of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Not really everyday wear (but hey if that's how you roll then I won't hate) but way cuter than costume jewelry. It's semi-dramatic jewelry (esp the necklaces) but the earrings I'm pretty sure anyone can pull off as an everyday look. Earrings are at about $7.49, necklaces at $24ish and rings at around $6-$7ish. There's a lot more selection at the store than the inventory online. I am practically in love with this necklace (but in yellow). It's $24.99 down from $49.99 but me being a cheapsake it's still out of my price range for a necklace "I don't really need right now," but if it goes down to $6 then heck yes I'll take it!
BTW, just in case you're curious I ended up buying:
pineapple orange banana juice $2.58
coconut chocolate covered Keebler cookies $2.78
Crackers $0.99
Grand Total of $6.50 after tax (sigh I coulda had a pair of Temple St.Clair earrings instead)
So I hope you've enjoyed this deal-io for the day. I don't know when I'll be out and about shopping again but when I do I'll be sure to blog about it!
Peace out!
